Megan (she/her) was born and raised in the Finger Lakes Region of Western NY and earned her nursing degree in 2004 from St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY. Her experience spans from public health to private practice, and Megan always finds a way to advocate for her patients.
Early in her nursing career she worked in public health, focusing on STI testing and treatment, refugee healthcare, women's and children’s wellness, and tuberculosis management.
Megan and her spouse began their lives together outside of Asheville, NC, where they had 3 children. In 2012, the family of five moved to the GA mountains, where they created a homestead, harvesting and preserving most of their food. Megan’s job then took her and her family to Atlanta, where they currently reside.
When she is not working, Megan enjoys cooking, growing vegetables, going for hikes and walks, hanging with friends, and traveling with her family.
Megan believes that a healthy body begins with a healthy mind and is a passionate advocate for trans rights.
Thank you for trusting me with your health. I look forward to working with you!
