Anne is a transplant from Austin, TX who genuinely appreciates a good salsa verde. For her first degree she majored in Art and French as she attended college on a partial painting scholarship. She then moved to Atlanta where she received her BSN and MSN from Emory University and graduated with honors. During her studies she tried to actively pursue international healthcare electives and was fortunate enough to find opportunities in India, China, Ghana, Peru, Ecuador, and the Bahamas.
She has been a nurse practitioner for over 10 years. For the first 6 years of her career she worked in oncology and then transitioned to the primary care setting with a special focus on gender affirming care, HIV, and preventative medicine. She is passionate about providing a supportive and safe environment for her patients and is a believer in making sure that each care plan is holistic, evidence based, and individualized.
When she's not working you can find her reading, painting, nerding out with her wife, or cuddling with their Machiavellian cat-son.
"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom". -- Anais Nin
